I have a large collection of paintings form other family members that I feel I am just the caregiver for them to ensure they stay in the family.

As long as I can remember Aunt Flossie lived with Aunt Lois and Grandma Bonnie. Interesting info, I appreciate your sharing. So very sorry for the loss of your Mother. Best Wishes!! I'd love to hear info, there's so much I don't know especially about your grandmother's side. I've been finding old pictures while I've been cleaning out my mom's house that I'll show you if you want to see! So glad to have found more family! My mother passed away last May and I am in the process of going through her decades of saved letters. There have been quite a few letters from Flossie after those three dear ladies moved back to Ponca City, Oklahoma. I happened to look up Mattie Creed Maxwell online because we have some of her paintings and I was curious if her work was known at all in the art world.
Thanks for having this post and photo on your blog!Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15570357863077540471noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8989121904965444460.post-69359299105599549242015-09-08T23:49:08.406-05:002015-09-08T23:49:08.406-05:00Hello there,

Bonnie Davis was my great grandmother. Her daughter Wanda was my grandmother. I don't know many in my mom's family because I'm a lot younger than my cousins. Good to know there's more family out there!
- Melita Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05074659986874593541noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8989121904965444460.post-62780684651682868282011-10-08T23:41:52.634-05:002011-10-08T23:41:52.634-05:00I love that saying and it pops into my head even t...I love that saying and it pops into my head even these days. That is so funny! Heather, I think we have some things in common for sure. I myself do enjoy the personal accounts of who married who and where people lived. While they are not the best sources, they are huge clues as I know you would agree. They certainly point you in the right direction. Clues like that are how my family found the Irish Settlement in Newport, NY.zelserskhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11392051499155306765noreply@blogger.com
