I opened your posting as I am always interested in samplers and it is marvellous to see such a good example of such an age. But thrre was another surpirse - my maiden name was Susan Weston! My Weston ancestors came from the English Midlands and as far as I know there are no American connections.

I, too, thought this was very cool. It makes me want to create a sampler, though I'm not sure what I would do with it. Susan, any hint that you are related to the Westons featured here?
