Interesting photo, Heather. It looks like it would have been a fairly deep pond by the time it was filled -- over their heads, at least! Do you know who the people in the photo are?
Yes, Nancy, it's my grandmother with her father and uncle. I'm not sure where this is. I'll have to ask her if she remembers. It does look awfully deep, doesn't it?

Wendy, they did have a farm, but I'm not sure if this pond was on their land. I'll have to ask around.
